How It Works
PM Strategy Advisor is not a generic AI chatbot. Every response is shaped by a structured methodology built on 10+ years of real delivery experience, calibrated to your seniority, sector, and the specific political and strategic moment you are navigating.
Most PM advice fails because it is generic. The RoomReady framework is built around the specific high-stakes rooms PMs walk into, each with its own political dynamics, decision logic, and failure modes.
Steering Committee
How to present programme status to a governance board that wants confidence, not detail. Framing, escalation logic, and what not to say.
Sponsor Pushback
When your executive sponsor questions the plan, the timeline, or your judgement. How to hold ground without losing the relationship.
Descope / Trade-off
Negotiating what comes out of scope under budget or time pressure, without destroying stakeholder trust or team morale.
Escalation / RAID
When to escalate, how to frame it, and how to present a risk that is becoming a live issue without triggering panic.
Vendor Reset
How to confront an underperforming supplier, renegotiate terms, or exit a contract without derailing the programme.
Delivery Recovery
Walking into a programme in distress. Rapid diagnosis, stakeholder re-engagement, and how to buy credibility before you have results.
Roadmap Conflict
When business units are fighting over priority, sequencing, or resources. How to facilitate resolution without becoming the enemy.
Role / Authority
When your mandate is unclear, contested, or being undermined. How to establish authority without creating political enemies.
When the problem does not fit a single room, Full Diagnostic opens a structured scoping conversation. The Advisor works through the programme context, stakeholder map, political landscape, and constraints before offering strategic direction.
This is the mode for complex, ambiguous situations where the framing of the problem is itself part of the problem.
You already record everything: RAID logs, decision logs, steering minutes, pages of Confluence and OneNote. The problem was never storage, it was recall. When a sponsor challenges you, there is no time to scroll back through months of history to find who objected, what was promised, or what a past programme taught you to stop doing. The Digital Twin is built to solve recall.
Generic AI forgets you between sessions. PM Strategy Advisor builds a persistent strategic profile called your Digital Twin. It captures facts about your environment: your sponsors, budget constraints, team dynamics, sector context, and political landscape.
At the end of each session, the Advisor extracts strategic facts from the conversation. You review and confirm each one before it is saved. Nothing enters your Digital Twin without your explicit approval.
Confirmed facts are held in a structured, per-user knowledge base. At the start of each session the Advisor retrieves the facts most relevant to the room you are in, ranked by scenario relevance and recency and kept within a fixed context budget, then weaves them into its reasoning. It is a curated, consent-based form of retrieval-augmented generation: because every fact was confirmed by you, the recall is trustworthy rather than a best-guess search over raw documents. Advice compounds across engagements instead of starting from zero each time.
GDPR
Memory extraction requires explicit consent, which you control in Settings. You can review, edit, or delete all stored facts at any time. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
Every response is generated through a structured prompt designed around three calibration axes:
Seniority
The level of challenge, directness, and strategic abstraction is calibrated to whether you are a junior PM, senior PM, programme manager, or portfolio director. More senior users receive less hand-holding and more political realism.
Sector
The Advisor adapts to seven sector contexts: IT/Digital, Pharma, Construction, Public Sector, Finance, Healthcare, and FMCG/Consumer Goods. Each has different governance norms, stakeholder archetypes, and risk tolerance.
Strategic Moment
The RoomReady scenario or diagnostic context shapes the response format. Preparation briefings look different from escalation strategies, which look different from recovery plans.
PM Strategy Advisor was designed by Deepak Kumar, a programme and portfolio manager with 10+ years of delivery experience across IT, digital transformation, and enterprise programmes. PMP certified.
The methodology is grounded in real patterns from real programmes, not theoretical frameworks. The RoomReady scenarios, the seniority calibration, and the diagnostic structure all come from situations actually encountered in delivery.
Generic AI can answer PM questions. PM Strategy Advisor knows the room.
